I don't trust easy answers to hard questions.

I trust many-sidedness instead - the partial truths each answer holds, the competing perspectives - and, given half a chance, I'd love to explore every one of them.

Years ago, I titled my thesis about cultural differences „The Inner Team travels the World." At the time, I had no idea that title would one day become a fitting description of my own life.

Today I live in Barcelona with my Argentine partner and our Catalan children. I work as a Senior Trainer at the Schulz von Thun Institute, design learning journeys and facilitate conversations in German, English and Spanish - travelling the world, its cultures, disciplines and perspectives.

As a Learning Architect and process facilitator, I help people, teams and organisations get into constructive contact - with themselves, with each other, and with what this era is asking of us.

Me-You-Us

Me-You-Us, that’s the arc of my work: understanding ourselves, understanding one another and shaping how we work together.

Much of my work happens at the intersection of individual reflection and organisational learning, personal development and leadership, team development and organisational change.

Which probably explains why I often find it hard to answer the question: «So... what exactly do you do?»

Learning is my fuel.

In the spirit of the Dunning-Kruger effect, the more I learn, the more aware I become of how much there still is to discover - which is why I am so drawn to projects that invite me to research, connect ideas and dig into new concepts.

I believe …

... that the other person's perspective always holds a piece of the truth. Even when I find that hard to accept.

... that we need more exploring questions than fixed answers.

... that opposites aren't a problem - and that the solution usually lies in integrating them: digitalisation and human contact. A sense of home and a wider horizon. Individuality and community.

... that everyone needs to feel seen and accepted, because this creates a deep sense of connection. And connection makes people happy.

... that we can only meet the challenges of our time if we manage to shape a constructive us - one in which we are in contact with ourselves and with one another.

... in scientific insight - and that theories only become really valuable when they help people in everyday life.

... that important projects need a simple rule: don't wait for the perfect moment, just begin.
